CATHERINE BOHART

  • Good Ship Comedy 1 Randolph Street London United Kingdom (map)

Catherine Bohart is an award-winning comedian, writer and actor.

She started performing stand-up in 2015 and has enjoyed a rapid rise through the ranks of UK and Irish comedy. In 2016, she was a finalist in both the BBC New Comedy Awards and Funny Women, followed by more success in 2017 when she joined the prestigious Pleasance Comedy Reserve at the Edinburgh Fringe.  In the past two years she has performed two critically acclaimed solo shows: ‘Immaculate’, an autobiographical hour about her life as the bisexual, OCD daughter of a Catholic deacon and ‘Lemon’ a show about smashing stereotypes around sex, sexuality and relationships.

Catherine’s burgeoning broadcasting career has seen her appear on E4's 8 Out of 10 Cats, Comedy Central UK’s Roast Battle, BBC2’s The Mash Report, Dave's Ultimate Worrier, ITV2's Stand Up Sketch Show and BBC NI's The Blame Game, as well as being a regular co-host on the podcasting phenomenon The Guilty Feminist.

A hugely deft writer and utterly beguiling performer, Catherine is fast becoming an unmissable comedy prospect.
